Rider profile
The rider profile is optional. It stores personal defaults locally — no login, no cloud. Profile data is not stored on the server.
Fields

| Home spot | Name, type (sea/river), typical wind range — context for future features |
Open profile
Click the profile chip top right (shows weight and skill, or “Profile” if incomplete).
On first visit a subtle banner appears — Later hides it for seven days. The simulation stays usable at all times.
Persistence
Browser-only: pumpfoil.profile.v1 in this browser’s localStorage — nothing is sent to or stored on the server. Goal Efficiency | Speed is stored separately as pumpfoil.intent.v1. The head photo lives under pumpfoil.riderHead.v1.
