What changes?
Below panel D, the “What changes?” block summarizes the main differences between two setups — in plain language, not only as overlaid curves.
Baseline
| Situation | Baseline |
|---|---|
| At least one setup saved in compare | Last remembered compare setup |
| No compare slot used | Reference AXIS PNGv2 1400 (default rig) |
The current setup in the control column is always the candidate.
Focus
The Focus dropdown weights which trade-offs appear first:
| Focus | Emphasizes |
|---|---|
| All-round | Balanced mix |
| Pumping | Pump power, distance/cycle, mean speed |
| Take-off | Take-off speed, best glide |
| High speed | Vmax and total drag first, then peak L/D (best-glide speed only secondary) |
Goal Speed in the control column (Advanced/Pro) sets focus to High speed automatically. Take-off regressions stay visible in the bullets — speed wins are never “free”.
Up to five relevant bullets are shown (✓ better, ✗ worse, ○ neutral).
Pump metrics
When the setup can sustain pumping, pump power and distance per cycle are included. Otherwise a note appears — steady trade-offs remain visible.
